NOBC 2015 President’s Award
Please join us in congratulating Dawn Miller Evans from the Oregon State Bar, this year’s recipient of the National Organization of Bar Counsel’s President’s Award.
Dawn’s contributions to the fields of attorney discipline and professional responsibility have touched not only the membership of the State Bars of Texas, Michigan and most recently, Oregon, but the NOBC as a whole. Her energy, initiative and drive are matched only by her humility. When presented with news of the award, her reaction was that she genuinely feels she has gotten more out of the NOBC than she could possibly have ever given. Not to mention that she is my faithful stalwart in every NOBC “Fun Walk” even though I have led her down dark alleys at daybreak, directed her up the on-ramp of an expressway, and jaywalked her into an oncoming trolley car. It is my great pleasure and honor to present this award to Dawn and to celebrate all her achievements.
